FIZZY !!!

She is the newest addition to the Suz and Kona family!

I have always wanted to help those animals that are stuck in the Humane Society, so I emailed the volunteer director and asked her if I could foster as well as volunteer a few hours.

We had a few emails going back and forth, general volunteer information, etc. However on Wednesday I got a phone call. She said we have a puppy that needs a Foster home and lots of love- are you interested? Without any hesitation I said YES!

Thursday rolled around and after work I went to the Humane Society and saw her! OH MY GOSH SO PRECIOUS!

She had just come out of surgery (getting her female goods taken care of) and she was just laying there. I went to her and talked with her... she just layed there but her tail was wagging.. I thought OH crap.. I think I love this lil' girl! haha

I talked to the lady - to find out info about her.

She is blind in the left eye. (a large dog attacked her when she was just a newborn)

Her name Frizzy.. I hate but we're slowly converting her to "Oakley Sage"!!

She apparently is scared of big dogs but has not had a problem with Kona.

This lil' girl is so precious and loves to cuddle. I found her and Kona laying on Kona's bed cuddling this morning when I was getting ready for work.

I will say that her seeing only one eye - yes is sad but has some humor!
Last night we were playing outside, Anita came over to see her.

Anita and I were sitting on the steps just talking.. and Neeters starts laughing hysterically. I said what? She pointed at lil' Oakley... poor lil' thing.. she was chasing a fly and can only see out of her right eye... so she kept going in circles and circles and circles- trying to see and catch the fly. She got so dizzy she had to lay down!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA Bless her heart!

I have a big Heart when it comes to animals! So helpless!

A New Chapter

A new chapter for Jon, Addison and Savanah! Having Jon live in my basement I was able to see the girls on the weekends and every Wednesday. It's sad not having them there anymore. But this new chapter will be an exciting change for them!

Many wishes to the newlyweds! Jon and Sara! Congratulations!
